About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor key strategic suppliers to proactively address market changes and identify revenue opportunities
Remain up-to-date on industry trends while evaluating whether industry changes have potential to impact BCD’s business
Leverage existing reporting tools and Microsoft Office applications to analyze data against contract models and assess strategic options
Conduct analysis on ad hoc market, supplier, or client changes, evaluating their potential impact on performance and revenue
Support team in data analysis for quarterly business reviews
Assist in deal performance analytics and support regional and global supplier proposals for forecasting
Use supplier, internal, and 3rd-party data to develop interactive reporting that tracks supplier contractual performance, ensuring optimal revenues and earnings rates
Communicate the analyses in an effective manner with internal regional teams and illustrate recommended levers to act upon analytical findings
Utilize supplier and internal data to increase accuracy of supplier projections for monthly accruals

Requirements

What you’ll need

Prior experience in the travel industry in a reporting or performance role related to sales or procurement, supplier relations, revenue management, or procurement consulting
Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel paired with solid presentation skills with Powerpoint
Basic SQL skills would be a plus
Financial modeling skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Effective communication skills (oral, written & presentation) in English as this role will regularly need to present their findings to internal and external stakeholders
Ability to travel domestically & internationally
