About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the development of supplier analysis that uncover new revenue opportunities and reduce potential risks
  • Continuously track the performance of these strategic efforts and deliver reporting that enables active oversight within the Supplier Management & Delivery team
  • Build innovative tools that streamline existing reporting processes and encourage creative approaches to analyzing new business challenges
  • Monitor key strategic suppliers to proactively address market changes and identify revenue opportunities
  • Remain up-to-date on industry trends while evaluating whether industry changes have potential to impact BCD’s business
  • Leverage existing reporting tools and Microsoft Office applications to analyze data against contract models and assess strategic options
  • Conduct analysis on ad hoc market, supplier, or client changes, evaluating their potential impact on performance and revenue
  • Support team in data analysis for quarterly business reviews
  • Assist in deal performance analytics and support regional and global supplier proposals for forecasting
  • Use supplier, internal, and 3rd-party data to develop interactive reporting that tracks supplier contractual performance, ensuring optimal revenues and earnings rates
  • Communicate the analyses in an effective manner with internal regional teams and illustrate recommended levers to act upon analytical findings
  • Utilize supplier and internal data to increase accuracy of supplier projections for monthly accruals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior experience in the travel industry, airline supplier relations, airline revenue management, or airline consulting
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel
  • Basic SQL skills
  • Financial modeling skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective communication skills (oral, written & presentation) in English
  • Ability to travel domestically & internationally
