About the role

  • Develop and lead a truly global travel program in partnership with affiliate members
  • Implement and execute a Global Business Plan to establish, achieve, and measure program objectives
  • Manage the Global Program Management team, providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customer decision-makers
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through coordinated sales efforts, pricing strategies, and implementations
  • Oversee new business implementations, partnering closely with the global implementation team to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Serve as part of the client support team, ensuring client satisfaction through proactive issue management and timely resolution

Requirements

  • Prior travel management company experience in an account management role
  • Solid Regional or Global Program Management experience within a travel management company
  • Experience in implementing and managing large market/global clients
  • A well-developed understanding of GDS online booking tools along with front and back office agency operations
  • A history of successful collaboration with suppliers
  • Advanced written and verbal presentation skills
  • Highly proficient with MS Office products, especially MS PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel when needed
