About the role
- Develop and lead a truly global travel program in partnership with affiliate members
- Implement and execute a Global Business Plan to establish, achieve, and measure program objectives
- Manage the Global Program Management team, providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customer decision-makers
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through coordinated sales efforts, pricing strategies, and implementations
- Oversee new business implementations, partnering closely with the global implementation team to ensure customer expectations are met
- Serve as part of the client support team, ensuring client satisfaction through proactive issue management and timely resolution
Requirements
- Prior travel management company experience in an account management role
- Solid Regional or Global Program Management experience within a travel management company
- Experience in implementing and managing large market/global clients
- A well-developed understanding of GDS online booking tools along with front and back office agency operations
- A history of successful collaboration with suppliers
- Advanced written and verbal presentation skills
- Highly proficient with MS Office products, especially MS PowerPoint
- Ability to travel when needed
