About the role
- Manage and coordinate the broad scoping process for limited project requests regionally
- Prepare basic documentation of new projects through to project assignment including the collection and understanding of: contract, pricing, Statement of Work, Scope of Services
- Oversee the request of primary functional department data availability for all projects
- Liaise with sales department on date availability for projects and escalate appropriately
- Maintain departmental forms, templates, contact lists, and supporting documents
- Provide administrative duties for executives and department, including making periodic decisions in the executive’s absence, within pre-determined scope of authority, applying discretion and judgment
Requirements
- A few years of experience in the travel industry
- Previous experience in a qualified project management role
- Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Good communication skills in written and spoken English and Japanese
- Skills in GDS Sabre and GDS Amadeus
- Six Sigma or other project management methodology familiarization preferred
