About the role

  • Manage and coordinate the broad scoping process for limited project requests regionally
  • Prepare basic documentation of new projects through to project assignment including the collection and understanding of: contract, pricing, Statement of Work, Scope of Services
  • Oversee the request of primary functional department data availability for all projects
  • Liaise with sales department on date availability for projects and escalate appropriately
  • Maintain departmental forms, templates, contact lists, and supporting documents
  • Provide administrative duties for executives and department, including making periodic decisions in the executive’s absence, within pre-determined scope of authority, applying discretion and judgment

Requirements

  • A few years of experience in the travel industry
  • Previous experience in a qualified project management role
  • Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Good communication skills in written and spoken English and Japanese
  • Skills in GDS Sabre and GDS Amadeus
  • Six Sigma or other project management methodology familiarization preferred
