Advertising Sales Representative – Inside Sales
BBB Midwest PlainsAdvertising Sales Representative promoting BBB Accreditation and advertising solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. Building relationships and driving sales through consultative selling in a remote environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Sell advertising products to BBB Accredited Businesses in your territory
- Consistently meet and exceed sales goals and retention targets
- Identify new opportunities and expand existing accounts
- Establish and nurture long-term client partnerships
- Maintain regular communication to ensure satisfaction and continued engagement
- Become a trusted advisor to business owners
- Educate clients on BBB products and services
- Recommend tailored solutions to support their growth
- Use consultative selling techniques and active listening to close business confidently
- Meet daily activity metrics including call volume and talk time
- Stay organized, responsive, and results-driven
- Continuously improve through coaching and development
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams
- Support company initiatives and uphold BBB Standards of Trust
- Contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Proven sales experience (1+ year required; outbound or call center sales a plus)
- Confidence in phone-based selling and relationship building
- Strong communication and selling skills
- Familiarity with digital advertising, SEO, and social media (preferred)
- Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Self-motivated mindset with strong time management
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
