About the role
- Develop and maintain the Projects Financial Model in alignment with company standards and BayWa r.e. business model
- Ensure automations and dataflows between the Project Financial Model, other tools and the wider digital landscape
- Ensure availability of documentation, version control, and tailored training for the financial modelling tools for Commercial Project Analysts, Project Developers, Project Managers and other core project team functions
- Maintain and update key assumptions based on market trends and benchmarks
- Facilitate exchange between the legal entities enabling knowledge sharing and comparable project valuation results
- Centrally review the Projects Financial Model during budget approval processes to ensure correctness and consistency of data
- Support country teams with valuation-related requests and serve as part of a pool of Commercial Project Analysts
- Implement and further develop the Projects Financial Model in accordance with FAST standards and provide detailed methodology documentation
- Close interaction and day to day support for the Commercial Project Analyst teams
- Report to the Head of Financial Modelling and collaborate with central finance and international commercial project analysts
Requirements
- Excellent university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Renewable Energy or another relevant field
- At least 2 years of experience with financial models, discounted cash flow modelling, and valuation of renewable energy projects
- Very strong MS Excel skills
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking
- Proactive with a strong drive to improve tools and innovate procedures
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic team player with a getting-things-done mindset
- Highly structured approach to work and strong analytical skills
