• Oversee a team of mortgage processors and junior processors, providing mentoring, coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Manage end-to-end mortgage loan processing lifecycle from loan setup and disclosure to pre-closing and closing, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Act as subject matter expert and escalation point for complex processing issues and customer concerns.
• Collaborate with underwriting, compliance, post-closing, and sales to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
• Oversee pipeline management to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and processing timelines.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor regulations (TRID, RESPA, TILA) and implement risk mitigation policies.
• Continuously evaluate and improve departmental workflows, adopting new tools and technologies to streamline operations.
• Serve as primary escalation point for customer issues and partner with sales to align customer expectations.
