Regional Account Executive – Ohio
Baylor GeneticsRegional Account Executive responsible for managing accounts and growing sales in the healthcare sector. Focus on promoting genetic testing products and ensuring client satisfaction with internal teams.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute a regional sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and key decision-makers.
- Present and promote company products and services to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and support teams to deliver tailored client solutions.
- Track and manage sales pipeline, forecasts, and territory activity using CRM tools.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to increase brand visibility.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to drive strategy.
- Provide regular reports on account status, opportunities, and performance metrics to leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support team and organizational objectives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sales or account management role, preferably in healthcare or life sciences.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organized.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory up to 50%.
