About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives
- Lead and inspire the business development team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team targets
- Establish and foster relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to drive business growth
- Oversee market research initiatives to identify potential business opportunities and industry trends
- Lead the preparation of high-quality proposals, presentations, and supporting documents for potential partnerships or collaborations
- Drive revenue growth through the identification and evaluation of potential business opportunities
- Analyze market data and competitor insights to identify areas for growth and development
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing findings, opportunities, and recommendations
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field
- MBA preferred
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in business development roles
- At least 5 years in a leadership capacity
- Proven success in developing and executing business development strategies
- Strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and achieve business targets
- In-depth understanding of market research methodologies and business acumen.
