About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives
  • Lead and inspire the business development team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team targets
  • Establish and foster relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to drive business growth
  • Oversee market research initiatives to identify potential business opportunities and industry trends
  • Lead the preparation of high-quality proposals, presentations, and supporting documents for potential partnerships or collaborations
  • Drive revenue growth through the identification and evaluation of potential business opportunities
  • Analyze market data and competitor insights to identify areas for growth and development
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing findings, opportunities, and recommendations
  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field
  • MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in business development roles
  • At least 5 years in a leadership capacity
  • Proven success in developing and executing business development strategies
  • Strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and achieve business targets
  • In-depth understanding of market research methodologies and business acumen.
