About the role
- Prepare schedules, task delegation, ensuring test turnaround time.
- Draft comprehensive genetic testing reports for whole genome sequencing and other advanced assays.
- Curate and interpret variants and genes, ensuring precision and clarity in clinical context.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams, respond to inquiries, and provide expert guidance.
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Genetic Counseling, PhD or MD in clinical medicine, genetics, molecular biology, or equivalent.
- 7+ years of experience leading a team in a clinical setting
- Familiarity with American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG) variant curation guidelines.
- Knowledge of genomic variation and its correlation with human disease.
- Excellence in reading/writing medical language.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
