About the role
- Support clinical support teams by developing, curating, and managing educational and operational content.
- Design and deliver training to clinical teams including genetic counselors, genetic counselor assistants, and support staff.
- Perform quality assessments of training effectiveness and identify opportunities for retraining or workflow improvements.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to support audit readiness, documentation updates, and corrective or preventive actions.
- Assist in managing clinical process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce error rates.
Requirements
- Master of Science or Master of Arts in Genetic Counseling from an ACGC-accredited program or equivalent.
- Board certified or board eligible in Genetic Counseling by ABMGG or ABGC.
- Must be eligible to work in the USA without restrictions.
- 3–5+ years of experience in a clinical genetic testing laboratory strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of clinical and laboratory genetics.
- Understanding of regulatory and quality standards relevant to genetic testing laboratories (e.g., CLIA, CAP).
