About the role
- Handles pre-closing processing for assigned loan files under joint supervision of assigned Loan Officer(s) and the Priority Funding Loan Processing Manager
- Gathering loan conditions from customers and Loan Officers and clearing loan conditions with client investors
- Ordering, reviewing, and delivering appraisal reports, flood certification and other required items
- Working with insurance agents on obtaining or correcting binders
- Verifying employment for customers
- Assists other Loan Operations Specialists in their department and resolves issues as they arise
- Handles general customer service issues
- Seeks and recognizes opportunities to refer new business to other areas of the Bank and affiliates
- Performs additional duties as requested
Requirements
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good time management ability and interpersonal skills required
- At least two years of prior loan/mortgage processing or similar experience required
- Ability to sit, talk, hear, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- May be required to work evenings and/or weekends and travel
