About the role

  • Process payoff including discharges and paid notes.
  • Ensure collateral documents are released in the required timeframe.
  • Utilize Simplifile and ILien to record and release collateral electronically.
  • Follow up on requests for missing discharges or UCC, including preparing and filing duplicate discharges.
  • Assist in opening Salesforce cases from department emails and faxes.
  • Assist with quality control review of Consumer and Residential mortgages ensuring the loans are correct on COCC.
  • Scan documents and index them accordingly in Integra for Commercial, Consumer and Residential loans.
  • Process incoming checks for payoffs to General Ledger accounts and open Salesforce cases for timely payoff of loans.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as requested and work overtime during high volume periods.
  • Refer potential new business to other Bank areas (BayCoast Insurance, Plimoth Investment Advisors, BayCoast Mortgage Company, Teamwork Funding, Priority Funding) and align with Bank mission and core values.

Requirements

  • Strong business communication skills with an ability to work well in a collaborative environment including other internal departments.
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to multi-task and respond well to pressure and competing deadlines.
  • Strong skills in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, and other formulas).
  • Fast learner – able to assimilate new ideas and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Simplifile and ILien for recording/releasing collateral electronically.
  • Experience with Integra, COCC, and Salesforce case management.
  • Ability to process payoffs, discharges, UCCs, and prepare/file duplicate discharges.
  • Ability to scan and index documents for Commercial, Consumer and Residential loans.
  • Ability to process incoming checks to General Ledger accounts.
  • Physical ability to sit, talk, hear, lift to 20 lbs., and availability to work evenings and/or weekends, attend remote meetings and/or travel.
