About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Guide a team of Business Development Specialists in developing new business relationships and enhancing support for existing clients.
  • Oversee and support a team, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies focused on financial gain, market expansion, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure the team builds and maintains an active pipeline of potential clients and opportunities.
  • Monitor team performance to achieve assigned revenue quotas and set targets.
  • Guide the team in conducting thorough market research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Establish effective communication protocols for team outreach to potential clients.
  • Foster long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Supervise preparation of quotes for customers and lead follow-up efforts to convert quotes into projects.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and conferences.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience as a business development executive, preferably in the translation industry, with leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success in translation and localization sales or business development.
  • Strong B2B sales track record with experience in closing new business.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Excellent proficiency in English.
  • Strong market knowledge and understanding of industry trends.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management and planning abilities.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive with a can-do attitude.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or a relevant field.
  • Experience with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
