About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Guide a team of Business Development Specialists in developing new business relationships and enhancing support for existing clients.
- Oversee and support a team, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Develop and implement growth strategies focused on financial gain, market expansion, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the team builds and maintains an active pipeline of potential clients and opportunities.
- Monitor team performance to achieve assigned revenue quotas and set targets.
- Guide the team in conducting thorough market research to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Establish effective communication protocols for team outreach to potential clients.
- Foster long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Supervise preparation of quotes for customers and lead follow-up efforts to convert quotes into projects.
- Represent the company at trade shows and conferences.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as a business development executive, preferably in the translation industry, with leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success in translation and localization sales or business development.
- Strong B2B sales track record with experience in closing new business.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot).
- Excellent proficiency in English.
- Strong market knowledge and understanding of industry trends.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management and planning abilities.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive with a can-do attitude.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or a relevant field.
- Experience with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
