About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Achieve sales quotas across a diverse portfolio including Baxter’s Pharma, Access, Drug Delivery, Nutrition, and Fluid Therapy products
  • Implement sales strategies and execute business plans to deliver on volume, product mix, and profit objectives
  • Call on acute‑care hospital customers; deliver effective presentations; and provide product information, demonstrations, and education
  • Partner closely with Infusion Systems and the broader Baxter team to meet goals and objectives
  • Protect, service, and grow the existing customer base
  • Manage and optimize Baxter’s GPO contracts
  • Serve as a resource for market information to management and marketing teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or 6+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Three years of medical/hospital sales experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to support effective sales strategies
  • Willingness to travel to both remote and urban locations, independently or with other personnel
  • Proven sales performance, a strong team orientation, and solid organizational skills
