About the role
- Lead Portfolio Territory Managers and Nutrition Specialists and manage tactical/operational daily activities to exceed the Portfolio Sales Budget
- Support Territory Managers with prospective customers, deliver effective sales presentations, provide technical and administrative product information and demonstrations, and quote customer prices
- Drive implementation of team strategies to ensure attainment of regionally focused objectives
- Plan, direct, and control sales and business activities for the region by translating strategic plans into sales strategies to attain sales volume, product mix and profit objectives
- Prepare annual regional forecasts and participate in determination of market potential and preparation of sales expense estimates for the region
- Manage regional sales and development efforts including contract compliance, staffing, training, performance management, and coaching plans
- Oversee administrative requirements and reporting (Boost, BaxU, QSOR, Tableau, OneDrive)
- Collaborate with the IDN Team on major accounts to ensure customer satisfaction
- Confer with leadership and marketing personnel to develop marketing policy and recommend product, product line revisions, and pricing changes
- Partner with sales support, marketing and R&D on sales promotion, training, market research and special projects
- Promote Baxter culture through positive ongoing customer relations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7+ years of healthcare sales experience
- 3+ years of sales management experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies
- Good organization, time management and overall leadership skills
- Ability to understand and adapt to customer changing needs
- Demonstrated eye for business and knowledge of sales processes as well as effective leadership and decision-making abilities
- Travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel
