About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building and maintaining long-term, trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement account plans to analyze current business performance, identify growth opportunities, and address customer challenges.
- Actively manage a portfolio of accounts by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
- Analyze market trends, customer data, and competitive insights to identify opportunities for business development and share recommendations with internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer support, to ensure the successful delivery of solutions and services.
- Proactively identify and pursue new opportunities within existing accounts and target accounts to expand revenue and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manage the sales process by preparing quotes, negotiating pricing, and finalizing agreements that align with company goals and customer expectations.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, account activities, and opportunity pipelines in the CRM system.
- Monitor and report on account performance, including forecasts, revenue growth, and margin management, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Organize and lead periodic business reviews with clients to assess satisfaction, identify future needs, and strengthen partnerships.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention, acting as a brand ambassador for the company.
- Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and competitive offerings to deliver valuable insights to clients.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably within a related industry.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining customer relationships, with a focus on driving long-term growth.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present and influence effectively across various organizational levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and prioritizing tasks.
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with other sales tools is a plus.
