About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and the wider project team to help set up and run research studies, clean, manipulate, and analyse data, and conduct literature reviews.
  • The role will also involve contributing to research reports, publications, and written and verbal presentations, as well as attending and actively participating in project meetings.
  • In addition, you will contribute to the wider activities of the Psychology Department and School of Sciences, comply with Health and Safety and other relevant internal procedures, and undertake any other duties that support the successful delivery of the research programme

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Working towards an undergraduate degree in psychology or other relevant social science discipline with a strong research methods component.
  • Good knowledge and research experience in own area or specialism, in particular quantitative social science research methods including surveys and experiments and quantitative data handling.
  • Excellent ICT skills.
  • A good undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline such as psychology or other relevant social science discipline with a strong research methods component.
  • Experience in quantitative or experimental research in psychology, communication, human-computer interaction, or other relevant subject areas.
  • Experience of working in a research team environment.
