About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • We are looking for a Senior Admissions Officer to proactively manage and oversee all aspects of the admissions process for a portfolio of programmes and/or dedicated partner institution under the leadership of the Head and deputy Head of section.
  • Overseeing the work of 4 Admissions Officers to process applications from our partner colleges and direct delivery campuses, you will work with colleagues in our Centre for Educational Partnerships, our Admissions representatives at our partner colleges and support the wider Admissions team.
  • You will work closely with the University’s academic departments, partner college Admissions teams and marketing and outreach officers.
  • In conjunction with the Admissions Coordinator, you will oversee the work of the team who assess student applications in a timely and professional manner, inputting admissions decisions into the student records system (SITS), issuing of offers to applicants, chasing applicant decisions and responding to queries.
  • You will also play a key role in Bath Spa University’s recruitment activities and support Open Days and events
