About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage a team that facilitates exceptional outreach, engagement and attainment raising activities.
Set objectives linked to the operationalisation and delivery of the University’s APP and monitor and evaluate the work of the team.
Continually review the outreach offer and ensure professional standards are maintained and applied within all areas of outreach and schools and colleges engagement.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Full UK driving license
Experience of successful HE schools and colleges engagement
Excellent ability to lead a team and identify opportunities for development
Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skill
Ability to undertake research and use data to determine appropriate markets for engagement
A detailed understanding of policies, practices and procedures within recruitment, outreach and the wider higher education sector
Experience of managing a team within either student recruitment or outreach
Experience of contributing towards Access and Participation Plans
