About the role
- Lead and manage a team that facilitates exceptional outreach, engagement and attainment raising activities.
- Set objectives linked to the operationalisation and delivery of the University’s APP and monitor and evaluate the work of the team.
- Continually review the outreach offer and ensure professional standards are maintained and applied within all areas of outreach and schools and colleges engagement.
Requirements
- Full UK driving license
- Experience of successful HE schools and colleges engagement
- Excellent ability to lead a team and identify opportunities for development
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skill
- Ability to undertake research and use data to determine appropriate markets for engagement
- A detailed understanding of policies, practices and procedures within recruitment, outreach and the wider higher education sector
- Experience of managing a team within either student recruitment or outreach
- Experience of contributing towards Access and Participation Plans
