About the role
- The Regional Director provides operational leadership for a defined group of large-format outdoor retail stores across various regions of the company.
- Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional customer experience, retail operational excellence, and strong financial results while maintaining full compliance across regulated categories.
- Drive brand growth, talent capability, and performance through hands-on leadership, partnership with corporate teams, and a customer-first mindset.
- Champion a customer first culture that aligns with the company’s outdoor lifestyle, sporting heritage, and commitment to conservation.
- Ensure operational consistency and excellence across all stores, including merchandising standards, customer experience, and a clean and inviting store experience.
Requirements
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in business management, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in outdoor, sporting goods, or large-format specialty retail.
- Proven success managing multi-unit operations with complex product categories.
- Strong business acumen with ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Teamwork oriented leader with excellent communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel extensively and work a flexible schedule as business needs require.
