Key responsibilities & impact- About the Role
- As an **Associate or Senior Associate** at Basis Health, you will play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality insights to our healthcare clients. You’ll work across a range of projects that drive key commercial decisions for products that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.** ** You will contribute to the development and execution of research plans, coordinate project workflows, and support the synthesis and delivery of impactful insights. This is a collaborative and growth-focused role — ideal for someone who is highly organized, intellectually curious, and excited to be part of a mission-driven team.
- Key Responsibilities
- **Project Coordination & Execution**
- - Manage day-to-day activities of research projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
- - Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, analyze data, and develop strategic insights to inform client decisions
- - Draft high-quality research materials such as screeners, discussion guides, and deliverables
- - Own first drafts and QC processes to ensure work is clear, error-free, and aligned with project goals
- - Analyze project-specific data and contribute to insight generation
- - Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all deliverables.
- **Client & Team Collaboration**
- - Partner closely with internal team members to manage workflow, flag capacity needs, and meet deadlines
- - Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and feedback cycles
- - Engage with clients professionally and credibly, contributing to proposals and presentations when opportunities arise
- **Strategic Thinking & Learning**
- - Understand and apply project objectives in the context of client strategy
- - Build therapeutic area expertise through both primary and secondary research
- - Take ownership of tasks, problem-solve proactively, and communicate clearly
- **Growth & Contribution**
- - Actively reflect on feedback and seek opportunities to grow and develop
- - Participate in internal initiatives such as training, recruiting, or knowledge sharing

Requirements
What you’ll need- **Required for Associate Level:**
- - 0–2 years of relevant work experience (internships or academic research welcome)
- - Strong written and verbal communication skills
- - High attention to detail and organizational ability
- - Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- - Interest in healthcare and strategic research
- **Required for Senior Associate Level:**
- - 2–4 years of relevant experience in healthcare consulting, insights, or life sciences strategy
- - Demonstrated ability to manage components of research projects independently
- - Strong analytical skills and ability to connect data to insights
- - Experience working directly with clients or cross-functional stakeholders
