About the role

  • Developing and maintaining sales relationships with Industrial Formulators accounts across CASE raw materials, construction, and chemical manufacturing segments, while hunting for new customers and retaining existing ones.
  • Building multi-level relationships, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while further developing under-represented markets.
  • Identifying innovation needs and aligning BASF’s capabilities to fulfill them, while continuously refreshing internal understanding of customer requirements.
  • Steering Care Chemicals' efforts with customers through sales development, quotations, and development projects.
  • Conducting in-person visits to customers and BASF sites, and implementing strategic growth plans to measurably increase product sales.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or business
  • Bring a minimum of 5 years’ experience in account management, sales, or related customer facing experience
  • Are able to hunt for new customers and market applications
  • Consider you are a strategic-thinker focused on results and the ability to identify new business opportunities
  • Have excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills
  • Possess strong organizational skills and ability to analyze data & industry trends
