About the role

  • You design digitalization projects and develop innovative solutions, e.g., with a focus on app development, data analytics, robotics, or virtual reality.
  • You conduct analyses of business and operational processes, identify digitalization potential and translate these into solutions.
  • You monitor technological and market developments in AI and Advanced Analytics and derive concrete project and application use cases.
  • You take a central role in participating in and leading site-wide and cross-site projects.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in natural sciences, engineering, economics, computer science, or a comparable field
  • In-depth knowledge of Data Analytics and Machine Learning as well as practical experience applying Artificial Intelligence and agent-based systems, ideally in an industrial or process-oriented environment
  • Experience in designing, developing, and implementing AI/ML solutions in enterprise IT environments
  • Ability to prepare complex AI models and results and to communicate between business, engineering, and IT stakeholders
  • Solid knowledge of Python or a comparable programming language
  • Ideally, experience and knowledge of the (chemical) process industry and agile project management
  • Very good German and English language skills
  • Empathetic personality with an independent and reliable working style and a strong results orientation
