About the role
- Learning and performing all core tasks of the APN Master Data Team, while also providing cross‑team support and managing the full material life cycle, including creation, maintenance, cleansing, and sellout, in compliance with global, regional, and local requirements.
- Ensuring master‑data accuracy and integrity to support end‑to‑end supply‑chain and operations processes, as well as analyzing large master‑data sets to diagnose SAP issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Supporting cross‑functional workstreams across OTC, P2P, MFG, PLN, SL, TM, WM, QM, and FICO, while also contributing to system upgrades such as S/4HANA to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for simplification, standardization, and harmonization, while also supporting automation initiatives using RPA, VBA, and SAP scripting tools to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
- Utilizing SQL and database concepts, including relational models, queries, and joins, for effective master‑data management, as well as leveraging advanced MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, and Teams for documentation, reporting, analysis, and collaboration.
- Building strong, collaborative relationships with local, regional, and global stakeholders to meet production and product‑launch timelines, while also producing and maintaining documentation such as regional processes, SOPs, and job aids, delivering training as needed, and communicating effectively through clear written and verbal interactions.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree plus 2-3 years of related work experience
- Possess strong SAP material-master experience (MM/SD/WM/PP/QM/Accounting/Costing views)
- Experience with STIBO / MDM will be a plus
- Have proven experience in master-data lifecycle management
- Experience in manufacturing or chemical/agricultural industry will be preferred
- Possess project experience with system transitions, integrations, M&A, or divestitures
- Are detail-oriented, process-driven, and able to work under tight go-live deadlines
- Are proficient in automation tools (RPA, VBA, scripting), data tools (Power BI, advanced Excel), SQL and understanding of database concepts will be a plus.
