About the role
- Responsible for developing and growing business relationships with retailers, growers and consultants.
- Serve as a local agronomic expert, positioning BASF seed, crop protection and seed treatment products with growers to maximize yield and profit.
- Accountable for achieving annual sales targets with growers on seed, crop protection, seed treatments.
- Create business and agronomic plans for key growers including strategies meeting their needs.
- Establish business plans including sales targets, forecasts and actions with assigned Retailers for seed.
- Develop and execute market strategies to launch new products per established goals.
Requirements
- Have a Bachelors Degree and knowledge and previous sales experience with agronomics, seed varieties and chemistry.
- Bring 10+ years sales experience.
- Possess strong business acumen and agronomic skills for seed and crop protection.
- Have experience working well in a team environment with a positive attitude and creativity.
- Successfully engage across the business.
- Have strong computer skills, as well as experience with Digital Tools such as SalesForce, GS Live, Xarvio, Sales X.
