About the role

  • Responsible for developing and growing business relationships with retailers, growers and consultants.
  • Serve as a local agronomic expert, positioning BASF seed, crop protection and seed treatment products with growers to maximize yield and profit.
  • Accountable for achieving annual sales targets with growers on seed, crop protection, seed treatments.
  • Create business and agronomic plans for key growers including strategies meeting their needs.
  • Establish business plans including sales targets, forecasts and actions with assigned Retailers for seed.
  • Develop and execute market strategies to launch new products per established goals.

Requirements

  • Have a Bachelors Degree and knowledge and previous sales experience with agronomics, seed varieties and chemistry.
  • Bring 10+ years sales experience.
  • Possess strong business acumen and agronomic skills for seed and crop protection.
  • Have experience working well in a team environment with a positive attitude and creativity.
  • Successfully engage across the business.
  • Have strong computer skills, as well as experience with Digital Tools such as SalesForce, GS Live, Xarvio, Sales X.
