About the role

  • Responsible for the global FRC process (2nd line of defense)
  • Define the scope of FRC activities (scoping)
  • Update and apply the central risk catalog
  • Manage the global FRC community
  • Support local FRC coordinators with design evaluation and testing
  • Integrate process and regulatory updates into FRC processes
  • Provide global training for FRC users
  • Regular reporting to the Executive Board and liaison with auditors
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve transparency
  • Identify opportunities for process and technology improvements

Requirements

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as German Wirtschaftsprüfer (WP), CPA, or CA are a plus
  • At least 3 years' professional experience in external or internal audit, with a focus on internal control systems in a large, preferably multinational company
  • Experience in the chemical industry or similar sectors is an advantage, particularly in the context of restructurings or carve-outs
  • Extensive knowledge of IFRS, along with experience in SAP and advanced MS Office skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving approach
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Very good English skills and strong interpersonal abilities to succeed in a multicultural, dynamic environment
