About the role

  • Responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts, in particular research, development and license agreements
  • Legal support for publicly funded projects
  • Management of the trademark portfolio for the Crop Protection division together with your colleagues
  • Measures to obtain, enforce and defend trademark protection
  • Comprehensive strategic advice, including matters under the German Unfair Competition Act (UWG)
  • Advising our Research, Development and Marketing teams

Requirements

  • First and Second State Law Examinations (Erstes und Zweites Staatsexamen) – qualified to practise law in Germany
  • At least five years of professional experience, with at least three years in IP/industrial property protection in the areas mentioned above
  • Expert knowledge in contract drafting and negotiation, with a focus on research and development agreements, license agreements and trademarks
  • Good knowledge of data protection and IT law
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German
