About the role

  • Drafting and negotiating contracts, in particular research, development and licensing agreements with our partners
  • Legal support for publicly funded projects
  • Managing the trademark portfolio for the Crop Protection division together with your colleagues
  • Implementing measures to obtain, enforce and defend trademark protection and providing comprehensive strategic advice
  • Advising on competition law relating to innovation and on data and IT law (excluding personal data)

Requirements

  • First and Second State Law Examinations (Staatsexamen)
  • At least five years' professional experience, at least three of which in industrial/ intellectual property protection in the areas mentioned above
  • Expert knowledge in contract drafting and negotiation, with a focus on research and development agreements, licensing agreements and trademarks
  • Good knowledge of data and IT law
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German
