About the role
- Providing mechanical maintenance engineering expertise to an assigned area of the site
- Collaboration with Production and Maintenance personnel
- Providing services related to design review, repair and maintenance, including predictive/preventative maintenance activities
- Provide technical support to Root Cause Failure Analyses, troubleshooting of problems, and monitoring PM and PdM programs
- Ensure a culture of continuous improvement by employing LEAN Manufacturing tools
- Establishing, monitoring and optimizing Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) plans
- Assisting in the training and development of in-house maintenance resources
- Supporting capital projects by supplying engineering expertise in specification, design and construction according to plant design requirements, BASF standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Hold a BS Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in petrochemical maintenance and/or reliability
- Experienced in various types of mechanical equipment troubleshooting and problem solving
- Understand maintenance and reliability processes, knowledge of vibration analysis, and equipment lubrication programs
- Able to communicate effectively and possess strong interpersonal skills.
