About the role
- Providing mechanical maintenance engineering expertise to an assigned area of the site
- Collaboration with Production and Maintenance personnel
- Providing technical support to Root Cause Failure Analyses, troubleshooting of problems, and monitoring PM and PdM programs
- Ensuring a culture of continuous improvement by employing LEAN Manufacturing tools
- Supporting capital projects by supplying engineering expertise in the specification, design and construction of projects in accordance with plant design requirements, BASF standards and regulatory requirements
- Assisting in the training and development of in-house maintenance resources
Requirements
- Hold a BS Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in petrochemical maintenance and/or reliability
- Experienced in various types of mechanical equipment troubleshooting and problem solving
- Understand maintenance and reliability processes, knowledge of vibration analysis, and equipment lubrication programs
- Able to communicate effectively and possess strong interpersonal skills.
