About the role

  • Develop software tooling to help your team’s data scientists deliver high-security face authentication and driver monitoring systems.
  • Support Data Scientists with Python scripts and tools.
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to fellow engineers.
  • Ensure our codebase remains accurate, readable, efficient, well-tested, and extensible.
  • Think critically to determine the best approach to achieve our goals, rather than simply completing work packages.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Have 2+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Enjoy collaborating as part of a technical team to achieve common goals.
  • Demonstrate strong, proven skills in Python for numerical data processing using NumPy and Pandas.
  • Are comfortable working with Git and Linux.
  • Have bonus experience with PyTorch and Pytest.
  • Are analytical, helpful, responsible and a quick learner.
