About the role

  • AR & Customer invoice management
  • 1) Responsible for Out-put VAT invoices management, and Out-put VAT invoice reconciliation. Analyze and follow up differences in tax reconciliation reports.
  • 2) Work closely with BASF Share Service Center/BPO and sales team, coordinate relevant parties to solve invoice and collection issues, support month-end closing on inter-company VAT reconciliation.
  • 3) Support revenue and accounts receivable posting accuracy with BASF Share Service Center/BPO.
  • Bank account management
  • 1) Bank structure / bank account set up and maintenance in considering the RTC cash management arrangement, local practice, and local regulation requirements.
  • 2) Lead to coordinate the annual bank account inspection and internal & external audit affairs related to bank account
  • Trade finance and cash management
  • 1. Ensure smooth operation & provide consultancy on bank guarantee and letter of credit related affairs
  • 2. Maintain and enhance relationship with local banks to ensure bank facilities are executed and implemented smoothly
  • 3. Support Regional Treasury manager on the foreign bank’s credit facilities review and implementation
  • FX management
  • 1) Assist to maintain a good working relationship with SAFE. Provide support to ad hoc inquiries to business partners.
  • 2) Ensure periodical and ad-hoc SAFE reporting on time and accurate submission
  • 3) Assist regional treasury manager on the readiness of valid dealing mandate and other requirement
  • Projects Support
  • 1) Assist new company set up and old company liquidation with regard to treasury matters
  • 2) Optimize the process to ensure smooth daily operation in VAT issuing process.
  • 3) Fulfil other ad hoc projects assigned by supervisor.
  • Others
  • 1) Support on expatriate-related banking affairs, e.g., bank card affairs coordination.

Requirements

  • College and above degree in Economics or Accounting.
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Good English skills both in writing and oral.
  • Strong ability for Microsoft Office.
  • Familiar with SAP or financial application software.
  • Familiar with financial laws and regulations.
