About the role

  • Develop and optimize application solutions for ASSB and medical markets.
  • Provide formulation and processing guidance to customers and internal teams.
  • Act as the technical interface for key customers, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
  • Conduct technical training sessions for customers and sales teams.
  • Lead technical projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with quality standards.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies in ASSB and medical sectors.
  • Ensure adherence to BASF and legal requirements for EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and information security.

Requirements

  • Possesses at least a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in technical service, new business development or R&D related to batteries.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles and project management.
  • Understanding polymer materials, battery technologies, and medical-grade applications.
  • Experience in new business development.
  • Ability to develop creative solutions for complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Ability to deliver presentations and training effectively.
  • Skilled in managing projects, timelines and resources.
  • Fluent English skills.
  • Can accept international travel as required.
