About the role
- Reporting to the EHS manager, your responsibilities cover industrial hygiene, working conditions and product stewardship (REACH, SDS management, etc.)
- Lead workplace risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance
- Implement and monitor the annual industrial hygiene plan
- Contribute to the program assessing work-related hardship (pénibilité) using the GEH approach
- Liaise with Occupational Health for ergonomics, hazardous substances, noise and vibration matters
- Manage incident tracking, propose corrective actions, and support investigations into occupational illnesses
- Actively participate in the Safety Culture program and propose directions for EHS initiatives
- Define annual EHS objectives, ensure reporting of key indicators and monitor REACH obligations.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in workplace safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science or equivalent
- Knowledge of chemistry
- Initial experience in the chemical industry, ideally on a production site, or equivalent experience
- Preferably with a background in industrial hygiene and/or workplace safety
- Proficient with IT tools: Microsoft Office, EHS tracking systems and regulatory databases
- English level sufficient for frequent communication with multiple internal stakeholders across the group
- Rigorous and organized, autonomous, team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills.
