About the role

  • You will take on global responsibility for the ongoing development and design of EHSQ (Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality), Production tools and processes working with various units to align requirements, define the needs of the division and challenge the status quo.
  • You will be responsible collecting requirements from different stakeholders for the upcoming SAP S/4 implementation project regarding Production and EHSQ tools coordinating that with all regions.
  • You will represent the interests of the division in cross division expert communities and BASF projects.
  • You will work with the regional business units, focus on the elaboration and implementation of Production and EHSQ initiatives.
  • You will be responsible for implementing AI solutions for decision support along Product safety, EHS & Quality Management.
  • You will translate requirements of business teams specifically Product safety, EHS & Quality Management for AI solutions.
  • You will guide and train new user teams in understanding data needs, data quality, data transparency, analytics e.g., PowerBI and its relevance for business processes.
  • You will work with an interdisciplinary and diverse team in an agile set-up to create and visualize business insights from data previously hidden in silos.

Requirements

  • Background in business, information technology, engineering, or other data-centric disciplines (B.Sc. or M.Sc.).
  • More than 3 years of professional experience as a Business process expert/consultant, working on digital solution roll out, working in an agile environment.
  • Hands-on experience working with digital solutions like in SAP or non SAP environment.
  • Experience with software development, preferably for cloud-based applications in an agile setup (e.g. Kanban, Scrum)
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of business process and digital solution mapping.
  • Preparing data analytics & excel templates for large digital projects.
  • Experience working in agile (Scrum knowledge appreciated) with a DevOps mindset.
  • Aptitude for quickly understanding new topics, combined with a structured and conceptual approach to problem solving.
  • Previous experience in digital/process roles is a plus, as is a strong collaborative spirit to thrive in a team environment.
  • German language skills
