About the role
- Support the development of the strategy and the target operating model for the Legal, Compliance & Insurance department at a global level
- Develop and implement tools and processes to optimize the department’s workflows
- Establish and manage a system for overseeing external law firms
- Coordinate internal risk management and ensure alignment of relevant measures
- Take responsibility for budgeting, controlling and cost allocation for Legal, Compliance & Insurance at the global level
- Design and operate knowledge management systems
- Support the development and roll-out of the Legal, Compliance & Insurance department’s digital and AI roadmap
Requirements
- Law degree (German First and Second State Examinations)
- At least 5–10 years of experience in a multinational company
- At least 5 years of experience in legal operations within a legal department
- Strong expertise in one or more areas of legal operations in a legal department
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills in English and German (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills; additional languages are a plus
