About the role

  • Assume responsibility for laboratory IT systems to plan, manage and conduct GxP system validations and drive continuous improvement of the global validation framework.
  • Change management and impact assessment of validated systems as well as the application of regulatory guidelines are part of your job.
  • Perform vendor audits and compliance assessments as necessary.
  • Train BASF units in GxP validation as well as system- & process- related topics.
  • Responsible for system development projects and process improvements in collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Lead an interdisciplinary project team and balance scope, schedule, budget and quality.

Requirements

  • Graduate studies in computer science, natural sciences, or a comparable education.
  • Extensive experience in Project and Process Management, preferably in the regulated area.
  • Several years of professional experience in the areas of computerized system validation and GxP.
  • Customer-oriented, entrepreneurial, and the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Very good negotiation skills as well as excellent planning and organization.
