About the role
- Responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance of product safety and master data for raw materials and finished goods to secure legal compliance for EC business operations.
- Act as the regional EHS Master Data Manager for EC Asia Pacific, engaging in close collaboration to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy.
- Serve as the EHS Master Data gatekeeper, ensure proper life cycle management for data, and work closely with APAC plants and other regions.
- Maintain accurate EHS data to generate compliant documents like Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels.
- Lead the implementation of new processes and tools, conducting training for Asia Pacific sites in alignment with the global EC strategy.
Requirements
- Completed scientific studies (B.Sc or M. Sc) in natural science.
- Well-versed in IT applications, with at least 5 years working experience in SAP EHS system in product safety or chemical legislation area, coatings, fine chemical industrial relevant experience preferred.
- Knowledge of GHS legislations and rulesets of several countries is crucial for this role.
- High level of commitment and teamwork skills, flexibility, customer orientation, as well as independent and structured work approach.
- Experience in developing and managing projects, as well as analyzing and solving problems.
- Clear and authentic communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, translate technical information clearly.
- Entrepreneurial thinking, pragmatism, and hands-on mentality.
