About the role
- Supports & ensures Global Customs Risk & Compliance relevant activities
- Initiate, coordinate and monitor process-oriented risk assessments
- Increase transparency on new laws, regulations and customs agreements
- Initiates and defines regional binding GB Guidelines
- Proactively engages Customs Communities of practices
- Conducts initial risk assessments
- Closely align activities with Process Design Team
- Act as project coordinator
- Deep dive into and analyses of BASF internal & external customs data
Requirements
- Good BASF business knowledge
- Good SC Operations knowledge
- Expert knowledge on Customs & Foreign Trade regulations
- Strong communication and argumentation skills
- Excellent analytical thinking
- Structured work organization
- Strong teamwork competence
- Experience in project management is desirable
- Good knowledge of the SAP master data systems and SAP GTS
- English (fluent in spoken and written)
