About the role
- Introduce, develop and implement the global insurance program and strategy for the Coatings division, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and optimization of insurance structures.
- Advise internal stakeholders on insurance-related matters and provide strategic insurance guidance to senior management and the General Counsel to support decision-making and optimize the company's global insurance coverage.
- Coordinate and maintain relationships with insurers and brokers, and lead the selection of suitable partners.
- Manage policies, certificates of insurance and proofs of coverage, ensuring their availability within relevant business processes.
- Support global claims handling and oversee claim settlement processes in coordination with the involved business units.
- Review invoices from insurers and brokers, manage payment processes in collaboration with the responsible departments, monitor regulatory developments and assist in adapting insurance solutions as required.
Requirements
- University degree in law, business administration, or a related field, preferably with a focus on insurance.
- At least 10 years of professional experience managing global insurance programs in a multinational company, insurance carrier, or broker, and working within risk management processes.
- In-depth knowledge of global insurance programs for multinational companies is essential.
- Strong expertise in international insurance requirements and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills in English and German; strong analytical and negotiation skills. Additional languages are a plus.
