About the role

  • Actively shape the operational management of the assets in close cooperation with Maintenance
  • Report to the team leader for Asset Management
  • Ensure the necessary technical competencies within the team
  • Resolve complex process, automation, safety, and plant engineering issues for our production facilities in close collaboration with Maintenance and Technical teams
  • Take responsibility for the technical development and assessment of the fundamental functionality of the assets
  • Coordinate and optimize asset-related outage planning together with the Maintenance team
  • Initiate and manage plant modifications with an asset focus
  • Coordinate responsibilities with adjacent technical units (Engineering, Maintenance) and the respective technical experts
  • Drive continuous improvement and development of the assets and the underlying KPIs
  • Identify technical weaknesses and resolve them in collaboration with operational and technical units
  • Commission technical measures and work closely with neighboring units to ensure technical documentation

Requirements

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Sciences, Plant Engineering, or Process Engineering
  • Previous team leadership experience is an advantage
  • Strong commitment, perseverance, and excellent assertiveness
  • Methodical competence and knowledge of relevant legal requirements, technical regulations, and applicable standards
  • Proficient in standard IT applications, dashboards (Asset Effectiveness), and SAP
  • Effective communication skills in German and English
