About the role
- support the development, implementation and execution of the global compliance strategy for the Coatings division
- contribute to the development and enforcement of policies and processes that enhance compliance
- support governance matters of the Coatings division
- closely collaborate with the global network of compliance officers of the legal entities of the Coatings division
- provide compliance advice in different expertise areas (e.g., sanctions, anti-corruption, criminal and data protection law)
- support the coordination of the global training and awareness program for compliance
Requirements
- law degree (German first and second state examination)
- minimum 3 - 5 years of professional experience
- minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in compliance roles in an international company
- ideally in international manufacturing environments
- proficiency in the areas of compliance is required
- ideally, additional qualifications or regulatory experience, especially in data privacy law
- proactive team player with strong communication skills in German and English
- able to explain complex compliance topics clearly
- committed to value-based compliance advisory and enforcement
- good analytical, negotiation, and collaboration skills
