About the role
- Control Product Design and Development (APQP) Process.
- Develop new products, new designations of color and modify existing products, processes and methods to fulfil technical and customer’s requirements.
- Create APQP documentation for new color developments & verify the feasibility of new color for the pigmentation combination.
- Implement optimization measures to the responsible products and lab test to verify the new techniques, methods etc.
- Responsible for raw material qualification and handle 2W ASEAN RMs portfolio.
- Be responsible for laboratory Management.
- Be responsible for customer complaint & understand non-conforming product & process procedure.
- Support activities of product which include developing formula for product improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the technical development coatings industry is required.
- Experience in technical research and development, as well as technical problem solving.
- Demonstrated abilities in people management, influencing, and negotiation.
- Proficient in English communication and presentation skills.
