About the role
- Work in the Precision and Preventative Maintenance Program, including vibration, laser alignment, balancing, thermal imaging, and ultrasonic inspections for site equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them.
- Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and the facility in a timely and efficient manner, troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues.
- Work independently, if necessary, to complete maintenance tasks and follow written instructions.
Requirements
- Have a High School Diploma or GED (Technical Degree or Certification preferred).
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a chemical or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate experience with precision maintenance on rotating manufacturing equipment and preventive maintenance programs.
- Are proficient in diagnosing and correcting mechanical issues, routine and preventive maintenance, precision maintenance techniques (vibration analysis, laser alignment, balancing, thermal imaging, ultrasonic inspections), reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders, troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues independently, and use of hand tools, power tools, welding, and material handling equipment.
- Are able to work independently and follow written instructions.
