About the role
- Contribute to prototype development for demonstration purposes in the domains of driver monitoring systems and face authentication technologies
- Optimize computer vision pipelines for edge devices, specifically targeting NPU, DSP, and GPU architectures.
- Assist the team with 2D image processing tasks, including face recognition and object detection.
- Support the validation of generative AI models for data augmentation tasks in cooperation with the trinamiX Ludwigshafen team
Requirements
- Hold a degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience with stereo vision or structured light systems.
- Possess hands-on experience implementing image processing algorithms on DSP, NPU, or GPU.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of general image processing techniques, including segmentation and object detection.
- Are familiar with machine learning principles as they apply to computer vision.
- Possess proficient in Python and C++.
