  • Our Quality & GMP Management unit ensures the quality of BASF Grenzach GmbH's products and compliance with applicable norms and standards.
  • The goal is to meet customer requirements and needs regarding the quality of our sunscreen products for the cosmetics industry.
  • This involves supporting the various interfaces such as Marketing, Production, Sales and our customers.
  • In addition, as the UV filter competence center we take global responsibility for the quality assurance of the entire UV filter portfolio.
  • In your new role, you will coordinate collaboration with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will develop and monitor processes that ensure on-site quality and compliance with standards.
  • You will also ensure the operation of the quality management system and the tools used, and work on continuous improvement and optimization of processes.
  • You will support the technical departments in complying with standards such as ISO 9001, GMP (ICH Q7), and where applicable EFfCI (cosmetic GMP), particularly in preparing and approving deviation investigations and change management, plan internal and external audits and also carry them out yourself as an auditor.
  • You will advise and support departments on qualification and validation matters, participate in cross-functional projects for the digitalization and automation of company processes, and support Quality Control on a project basis (also hands-on), for example during method transfer and validation or the planning and execution of stability studies.
  • Last but not least, you will evaluate, qualify and audit suppliers of materials and services. 🎯 Requirements
  • Degree in a scientific/technical field (e.g., Chemistry, Materials Science, or similar) or vocational training with comparable relevant professional experience
  • Initial experience in the quality area and/or additional professional qualification and ideally some practical experience in a chemical laboratory
  • Solid knowledge of industrial processes and quality requirements, as well as basic knowledge of the relevant norms and standards
  • Ideally, GMP knowledge with a focus on ICH Q7
  • Strong team skills and convincing presentation and communication abilities in German, and conversational English skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with SAP or LIMS (LabWare) is a plus 🏖️ Benefits
