About the role
- Supervise a team of 6-8 people in the fields of process chemistry and quality.
- Investigate EHS events and implement preventive/corrective measures.
- Manage process deviations and identify optimization levers.
- Lead process optimization initiatives as the OpEx manager for the Monthey site.
- Develop and document manufacturing processes and process safety concepts.
- Define, collect, and monitor process performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop operational training concepts and oversee their implementation.
- Control and advance lean management practices.
- Collaborate within the divisions's process manager community.
Requirements
- You hold a Master’s or PhD in chemistry or chemical engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience as a production or process engineer.
- Excellent command of French and English and/or German (spoken and written).
- Strong knowledge of EHS guidelines for chemical processes and expertise in risk analysis.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience in managing complex issues and process operation management for large-scale projects.
