About the role

  • Develop and maintain business relationships with retailers, growers and consultants identified as strategic to BASF
  • Act as the primary contact from BASF, including strategizing and tactics for both short-term and long-term
  • Create a plan for the top retailers in that territory for CP, Seed, and ST, and drive Seed conversations at Retail with the Seed Manager, Agronomist, and local Retail sales team
  • Create demand for BASF seed and chemical products with assigned growers and retailers
  • Maintain adherence to KPIs related to volume, share, value, and financial sales targets
  • Work relationships with local sales teams, technical service representatives, and strategic account managers to support the implementation of customer plans

Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of professional experience
  • Are proficient in verbal and written communication with a strong emphasis on professionalism
  • Exhibit strong business acumen in all aspects of the role
  • Possess a proven track record in sales
  • Demonstrate exceptional time and resource management abilities
  • Utilize analytical skills to drive strategic decision-making
  • Are proficient in utilizing various digital tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and meeting targets by effectively utilizing digital tools such as Xarvio, and Sales X to achieve optimal results
