About the role
- The Functional Lead will be responsible for the functional design and implementation of Time & Labor and Absence Management modules, including: Supporting requirements gathering, backlog development, and prioritization in collaboration with business stakeholders
- Translating business requirements into functional designs and system configurations within PeopleSoft HCM
- Defining and documenting business processes, rules, workflows, and use cases
- Ensuring system configurations align with Senate policies, compliance requirements, and payroll processing needs
- Collaborating with technical teams to support integrations and ensure end-to-end solution integrity
- Supporting system testing, including system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) validation
- Identifying and resolving functional issues and gaps throughout the project lifecycle
- Providing knowledge transfer, end-user training, and documentation to business users and stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience working with PeopleSoft HCM functional modules
- Bachelor's degree required
- Demonstrated experience implementing Time & Labor and Absence Management modules
- Strong experience with accrual rules, time reporting, and leave processing
- Solid understanding of payroll-related business processes and their integration with time and absence systems
- Proven ability to work with business stakeholders and facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and process discussions
